Curriculum
The educational program used to achieve the Materials Properties Control program’s educational objectives, which assumes a foundation of undergraduate-level education in subjects such as material physics and physical chemistry, physical properties of polymers and inorganic materials, and polymer chemistry, has been structured based on the following guidelines to ensure that students understand the basis and principles of how polymer and inorganic material properties are expressed:
- The curriculum will facilitate students’ mastery of the basic knowledge and application skills necessary in order to oversee innovative materials research.
- The program will foster the development of the skills needed in order to carry out research, including research planning, experimental and calculation techniques, data analysis, and observation.
- The program will help students master the skills needed in order to understand and communicate research findings in specialized fields from a global perspective.
