The Functional Chemistry program seeks to foster the development of engineers and researchers with insight and problem-solving skills through the precise analysis of the structures and functions of biologically relevant substances and other functional substances along with research experience related to the creation and application of functional substances while approaching life, energy, and the natural environment from the perspective of chemistry.
Selection policy
The Functional Chemistry program seeks applicants who take a strong interest in the structures and functions of functional substances as an interdisciplinary domain combining life science and chemistry and who possess the basic knowledge, English proficiency, and research problem-solving skills that are necessary in order to carry out research.
