Graduate school entrance examinations
Human resources development objective
The Materials Synthesis program seeks to foster the development of professionals who combine an awareness of the need to coexist with nature with a proactive disposition that enables them to think and act on their own as well as creativity and an international outlook. It does so by means of an educational and research program that is dedicated to the development of new materials and advanced functional materials through the explication of the principles governing the design of molecules, the smallest building block of organic substances, and through the process of pioneering new methods for synthesizing such substances.
Selection policy
The Materials Synthesis program seeks applicants with a strong interest in materials synthesis and broad, basic knowledge in chemistry who wish to develop effective new materials by creating materials at the atomic and molecular level while thinking about the need for harmony with the environment.
